# Does Insurance Cover RMT Massage Therapy in Ontario?

Many Ontario extended health plans include massage therapy performed by a Registered Massage Therapist, but coverage is determined by the specific plan. Before booking, check whether an RMT is required, whether a referral is required, the annual and per-visit limits, whether HST is eligible, and whether direct billing is supported.

Kimura Massage Therapy & Rehab provides an RMT receipt. Direct billing is available for many insurers when the plan and insurer approve the claim. A declined or partial direct-billing response does not necessarily mean the service is never eligible; the client should confirm the reason with the insurer. The client remains responsible for any unpaid balance.

Clinic base prices are $80 + HST for 30 minutes, $105 + HST for 45 minutes, $120 + HST for 60 minutes, $155 + HST for 75 minutes, $190 + HST for 90 minutes, and $270 + HST for 120 minutes.
