# What to Expect at a First RMT Massage in Brampton

A first appointment normally begins with health history, the reason for booking, and a discussion of goals, pressure, positioning, and treatment areas. The RMT may assess movement when relevant. Treatment begins only after informed consent.

Clients may remain clothed, request more draping, ask for a position change, decline any technique or body area, request lighter pressure, or stop treatment at any time. Only the area being treated is uncovered.

After treatment, the RMT may reassess, discuss the response, and suggest simple aftercare. Mild temporary tenderness can occur, but soreness is not required for a useful session.
