# Deep Tissue Massage in Brampton

Deep tissue massage is a common label for focused massage that may use slower strokes, sustained contact, and moderate-to-firm pressure. At Kimura Massage Therapy & Rehab, it is not defined by maximum force or by how much pain a client can tolerate.

Ricky Arora, RMT, begins with an assessment and consent discussion. Pressure, positioning, techniques, and treatment areas are adjusted to the client's goals and response. A client may request lighter pressure, change focus, decline a technique, or stop treatment at any time.

Some clients choose focused work for recurring muscle tension, stiffness after work or training, or a preference for firmer pressure. Massage may provide short-term relief or make movement feel easier for some people, but results vary. Soreness is not proof of effectiveness, and massage does not physically “break down” adhesions or permanently correct posture.
